Local Tours (Availability of these tours will be dependant upon delegate interest)
A visit to 2 of the many waterfalls within the Hamilton area. This tour will last about 1-1.5 hours and will visit Webster's Falls and Tew's Falls which are located not far from the McMaster Campus. Tours are 1:00 and 2:30 pm.
The McMaster University Planetarium will be available for delegates to see a show displaying the planets and stars above the earth. Shows are approximately 1 hour in length. There is no need for you to reserve tickets. Showtimes are 1:30 and 3:00pm.
A walking tour of the Royal Botanical Gardens trails immediately adjacent to the McMaster University campus. This tour will be weather dependant but will showcase a number of rare species of plants and wildlife. Tour times are 1:30 and 3:00 pm.
A tour and demonstration of the McMaster Elliptical Computer lab utilizing virtual desktop technology in an engineering environment. This tour will be hosted by our Gold Sponsor Scalar. Complimentary wine and cheese will be served. Tours are at 3:00 and 4:00 pm.
Meet and Greet Session
Sunday evening from 5 to 8 pm, there will be a meet and greet session at the Michael DeGroote Centre for Learning, main floor. Meet up with old colleagues and develop new contacts from across Canada.
Cloud 9-After Hours
Taking place at the Mary Keyes Residence on campus, this social time will allow delegates to unwind and enjoy conversation and social time together. Hours of operation will be:
- Sunday, June 5 - 9 pm to 10:30 pm
- Monday, June 6 - 10 pm to 11:30 pm
- Tuesday, June 7 - 10 pm to 11:30 pm
