On behalf of CUCCIO and the CANHEIT organizing committee, I would like to welcome you to the CANHEIT 2011 website and thank you for your interest in attending CANHEIT 2011 at McMaster University in Hamilton.
The theme of this year's conference is "The Nature of Technology" and I am confident that you will find the program to be enlightening and informative. The sessions and keynotes will address a number of topics that are relevant to the information technology sector in higher education in Canada today. While the organizing committee is still preparing the final program, I am particularly happy to let you know that one of our McMaster associates and Canadian astronaut, Dr. Dave Williams will be delivering a keynote address during the conference.
The CANHEIT Conference is also an opportunity to meet with others both in higher education and in the private sector and cultivate new relationships, ideas and solutions that can be mutually beneficial.
