McMaster University is located in the west end of Hamilton at 1280 Main St. W. This is only a short drive from the downtown core of the city and is witin easy access of the main highways coming into the city. Go Transit offers morning and evening trains to Hamilton and bus service from Toronto every hour throughout the day. They also offer service from York University and Square One Shopping Centre directly to the McMaster campus throughout the day. In addition, the Hamilton Street Railway offers service direct to campus from all points within the Metropolitan Hamilton area with additional connections with Burlington Transit. - From Hwy 403 westbound: exit Main St W. exit. Turn left off exit onto Main St. W. and continue 1.2 km and enter McMaster University on the right.
- From Hwy 403 eastbound: exit Aberdeen Avenue and turn left at the first light, Longwood Rd. then turn left at Main St W. Continue 2 km on Main St W and enter McMaster University on the right.
- From downtown Hamilton: follow King St W. to Paradise Rd S. then follow onto Main St W. Continue approximately 2 km on Main St W and enter McMaster University on the right.
