It was an interesting experience. Part of the problem is that most of us participating in this Symposium belong to a slightly older generation. A few years from now, this sort of Conference would I hope become the norm. Several students (like one of my fellow participants, Emily Schleihauf) who would be very comfortable with this process are right in the middle of doing their exams. Their participation has been thus quite limited. The opportunity to cross-check your facts and give considered responses is big plus. I must thank the organisers for giving us all this opportunity.
