Dr. Wu: Great presentation. Hope you have fun at the meeting.How rapidly is Zn-PP-IX altered by light? Would there be any left at the end? Second, I am not familiar with the literature. Do any of the light decomposition products of Zn-PP-IX inhibit HO? Third, how rapidly do these compounds cross the cell membrane as I imagine it is a fairly large molecule? Finally, is the endogenous CO response peculiar to cultured cells?
