WCAG 2.0 AA Compliance
Section 2.4.5
More than one way is available to locate a Web page within a set of Web pages except where the Web Page is the result of, or a step in, a process.
This is another simple section. In order to allow users several different methods of navigating your site, you must simple provide two or more of the following features (each one has a link providing WCAG's definition of the feature):
- Links of related web pages
- Table of Contents
- Site Map
- Search Function
- List of links to all other Web pages
- Links to all the pages from the home page
You'll notice that the UTS site implements a "Jump Box," a Search Box, a left navigation menu with proper hierarchy, plus a top navigation for other department websites. You should follow this example and perhaps try to add a site map for extra measure. There are many free tools that exist for automatically creating site maps, but a hand-made one will be the most accurate.
