Construction

While the University and the citizens of Hamilton raised money, work commenced on campus. In 1929, A. Cope & Sons were hired to dig the road and install the services from Main Street West to McMaster's Hamilton Hall. (Image courtesy of Canada Baptist Archives)

Archive displays of fascinating photos of McMaster's history will be available for viewing in the McMaster University Student Centre. Also if you haven't been through the second floor of Gilmour Hall recently, take a look at the framed photos of McMaster's growth through the decades since moving to Hamilton.
