Membership in the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education means connecting with a vibrant community of university and college faculty, educational developers, administrators, 3M National Teaching Fellows, and students. Since 1981, STLHE has shown leadership in higher education, advocating for teaching excellence and to advancing the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

The annual STLHE Conference is Canada’s premier event on post-secondary teaching and learning. New and experienced faculty, educational developers, teaching assistants and administrators from—Canada and around the world—attend this collegial event which offers workshops, presentations, formal sessions and informal opportunities to exchange ideas.

Whether face-to-face or through our electronic forum, STLHE members support and collaborate with colleagues, sharing expertise, resources, and innovative ideas. Together, they develop skills and knowledge that enhance teaching and learning in their own classrooms, labs, and institutions.
