Dr, Ogundele: Hope you are enjoying the meeting. Great poster. I did not realize thatEDTA had been shown to be capable of penetrating biological membranes. What form of EDTA crosses the membranes and by what mechanisms? I can see come co-ordinate complexes with metal ions where EDTA acts as a neutral molecule crossing but EDTA itself would require an anion transport mechanism.
