Nutritional Regulation of Peroxide Scavenging

I consider this paper very interesting, and the question I have, though is not directly related with the results presented, is : I would like to know if there is any evidence of selene organic compounds (which) are better and/or more effective than molecular selenium, and in which pathologies and what explanation you can give for it (bioavailability?)
