Dr. Ogundele: I am glad to see your nice presentation and hope you enjoy the meeting. I did not realize until I read your poster that breast milk cobtained that many live cells. What do you think is the benefit of these cells - to protect the milk or any other purpose as well? If the sole role is to protect the cells and EDTA performs that function, is it likely that EDTA would be abosorbed by the infant to the extent that it is a concern? However, if these live cells help the infant in any other way, killing them is a big concern.
