Dr.Kuhar: Fascinating problem and interesting results. If the transporters were to be intrasynpatic, would it not make it very difficult to get inhibitors of the transporters such as cocaine to reach them? I am not famililar with this field. Are the data with the various inhibitors consistent with the perisynpatic or intrasynaptic transporters being functionally more inportant?
