Symposium 524 Beth Levant

Hi Kirsten. What a nice presentation. You've done a lot of work. Checking out the effects of clorgyline and moclobemide on [DA] and MAO activity was really important and rules out the possibility that the effects on quinpirole sensitization are due to chronic modulation of dopaminergic tone. Likewise, it is unlikely that chronic alterations 5-HT of NE are involved.I'm not sure what the affinity of moclobemide is for the I2 site. Is it similar to Ro 41-1049?
