This was an interesting study Dr Rizzoni. I am certain that you are not suggesting that the remodelling in these vessels is not the "cause" of the hypertension. However, when you point out that similar remodelling did not occur in EH patients and therefore suggest that different treatments must be considered, are you sure that this conclusion should be drawn by simply looking at one type of vessel in humans? I understand that there is limited access, however is there not differential remodelling in different vessels that might still respond to the same drug treatment? I am just curious because vascular remodelling is in my field of interest as well.
