This is a formal apology.  I have discovered (four days after the fact)
that I forgot to give your team the welcome that I had given all other
participants in the Biomedical Educational Section as chair of the
session.

Eventhough 'better late than never' sounds a bit stale, let me give
you a big, Latin welcome to the 5IWC!
