The Laramie Project

The Laramie Project deals with a gay bashing incident, one with deadly results. By now most of us are aware of the Matthew Shepard story: the story of a young man who was lured to an isolated location in the Wyoming desert and brutally murdered. The impact this unprovoked and premeditated murder had was profound. For a moment everyone paused and re-examined the nature of the intolerance which spurred the attack, much is now happening in our own cities and our own communities. The Laramie Project is an eloquent voice to these re-examinations. Piccadilly Circus is proud to be in a position to take a leadership role in these discussions.
