Research Integrity Policy Orientation sessions will address:

  • the meaning of research integrity and the scope of the Research Integrity Policy
  • the requirements for personnel engaged in research
  • the responsibilities of supervisors
  • the types of possible research misconduct offences
  • the process for reporting allegations of research misconduct
  • the range of possible sanctions where research misconduct has been confirmed
  • the interaction of the Academic Integrity Policy and the Research Integrity Policy

In addition, the Tri-Agency Secretariat on the Responsible Conduct of Research will be providing an online tutorial to assist personnel in understanding the new Framework. Detail on the tutorial is pending and will be provided to the research community when known.
